The PCI bus based version of Benchmark Lan-T is now available. The LAN Trainer NIUs require a free PCI slot on the computer. The PCI compatible Lan-T laboratories have been installed at more than thirty institutes including IIT – Madras, IIT – Roorkee, IIT – Kharagpur, NIT – Calicut, IP University - Delhi, NSIT- New Delhi and the user feedback has been extremely encouraging.

We have also added new experiments to Lan-T kit with the release of new software version. The new software also makes performing experiments simpler.

The Benchmark Lan-T covers all experiments as per the Networking Lab syllabus of UP Technical University. We can assist the institutes in setting up a state of the art networking lab, at nominal budgets, with Benchmark Lan-T. About The Lan-T

Benchmark Lan-T - LAN Trainer - is a versatile laboratory system that supplements courses on computer networks and LANs. Developed by Benchmark Electronic Systems in collaboration with IIT-Madras, the Lan-T exposes users to networking concepts at the physical, MAC, network and transport layers through a carefully designed series of experiments. The student user can change network protocol, topologies, and load conditions and measure the network performance under each condition. The Lan-T also allows the user to design and implement network software at various OSI layers as suggested exercises or project work.

OFT - Optical Fibre and Digital Communication Trainer

The fourth generation “Benchmark - Optical Fibre and Digital Communication Trainer (OFT)” is now available. The latest Benchmark OFT kit design is easier to work with and takes significantly less space. The new design also draws the attention of the student to the block diagram and the function of each block. An aesthetically designed rigid pouch fixed with the cover of the kit allows all accessories & components to be neatly stored post usage.
